Wonderfully Complex
Average, simple, basic, bland... Not particularly words I want associated with me. Women are said to be complex beings. Nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned. As with most things in life, there is also beauty in the rustic. I'm not saying I want to be incomprehensible by intentionally being complicated. I see charm in both the intricate and the modest.
However, even nature is anything but plain. It's all about perspective. How we choose to interpret ourselves, our environment and the intangible, shapes our world-view.
WHAT makes Complexity Great?
1. The layers. With complex people, things or places, we can take them at face value and still have a lot to see or learn. The benefits are plain to see but the fact that there is more to uncover, to understand, to research makes them even more valuable.
2. The discovery. If you have enough curiousity, the adventure of uncovering the depth of a person is rewarding. If you are one of those who think women are complicated, I recommend that you invest time in understanding the women in your life. After all, we spend time on what we prize. We should seek to better understand each other in spite of our differences.
3. The understanding / knowledge. I can't be alone in loving to understand why certain things are the way they are. That's one of the many reasons search engines are so popular. We are naturally inquisitive. This need for knowledge needs to be met to add to the enjoyment of our lives.
4. Being Different. Non-conformists are more memorable. Throughout history even inventors sought to see what others couldn't visualize. It's people who are not willing to follow the status quo that often lead or are significantly involved in being change agents. The woman with the "issue of blood" didn't allow decorum to restrict her. She was willing to go against cultural norms and hundreds of years later, we remember her for being bold and different.
Women, lets not shy away for being deep thinkers, from questioning things, being outspoken or from leading a revolution if need be. We have been made capable of so much in order to help the world be better. Change begins with the right mind-set. Determine to be wonderfully complex as long as you are reaching the world for Jesus and fulfilling the reason you as an individual find yourself on planet earth today.
